A tale of three childhood friends, their friendship and love. Through the trials of the deep palace and the temptations of power, will love never change and friendships stay true?

Duan Fei Hong (Zhang Han), Miao Feng Yan (Bai Bing) and Ning Cai Die (Zheng Shuang) plays three childhood friends whose lives change when the lovers Fei Hong and Feng Yan are split up when Miao Feng Yan is sent to the palace. While Cai Die maintains her innocence outside the palace wall, betrayal and intrigue changes Feng Yan’s character as she schemes for power.

Feng Yan is an orphan girl who danced her way into becoming an imperial consort. Although she would do anything for the love and attention of the Emperor, Tang Yi Zong, however she secretly still longed for her first love; Duan Fei Hong who later was found to be Tang Li Yue, the long lost brother of the Emperor.

When Li Yue's coup fails, the three childhood friends escape together on a boat. On the quiet lake, it was as if they returned to their childhood, but everything has changed. They can no longer return to the time of their childhood...

Comments:

Story started with the 2 good friends wanting to save the princess, who is the half sister of the Emperor. The princess is the one who had raised and took care of them since young. I find it weird that in the end instead of saving the princess, Feng Yan ends up killing the person whom she aimed to rescue in the first place.

Last part before the ending is the most interesting or rather silly. Either Li Yue's stupid or he is totally not the right person to be Emperor, he actually give up his upper hand when he had lead thousands to upsurp the position of his brother the Emperor for the sake of looking for the 2 ladies, Cai Die and Feng Yan. By him doing so, I could have imagined how many would be put to death by the useless Emperor.

If you ask me I would think that Feng Yan is totally insane to go back to the useless Emperor. Even though he is in love with Feng Yan, but being the Emperor he had so many women around him. Especially fickle minded and might get rid of her anytime. I would have gone and escape with Duan Fei Hong instead.

About the Drama:

The tragic event of their childhood entwined the fates between two of men who are bonded by it and a woman who has an ability in psychometry into a love triangle.

Joo Ji Hoon주지훈 is a lawyer Oh Seung Ha오승하 who is destined to meet a police detective, Kang Oh Soo강오수 (Uhm Tae Woong 엄태웅).

Shin Min Ah신민아 plays Seo Hae In서해인, a 25 year old mysterious librarian with an ability in psychometry. Psychometry is a form of extra-sensory perception wherein a psychic holds an object in his or her hands in order to obtain information about the object or its owner. She is at the level of being diagnosed with amnesia/sleeping disorder and she tends to be in full concentration when she becomes too absorbed/focus into something.

Kang Oh Soo who is from a rich family, had accidentally caused Oh Seung Ha to lose his brother and mom when they were young. Oh Seung Ha later grows up to be a lawyer who wants to seek revenge on Kang Oh Soo who is now a police detective.

When Homicide Detective Kang Oh Soo hit a dead end in his investigation of two seemly unrelated murders, except for the Tarot cards left behind at both crime scenes, he sought help from Seo Hae In.

She revealed that the killers were different in each murder, but the victims were chosen for their connection to a death of a high school boy. Later, the cases proved to have one more thing in common: the suspects have the same defense attorney, Seung Ha's defense for his clients severely shaken Oh Soo’s conviction to catch the Tarot Card mastermind.

Oh Soo was reminded that years ago he had killed a high school classmate in a fight. He was acquitted of all charges and began his life anew. Now, someone has came back to revenge the boy’s wrongful death by killing those who got him off.

Oh Seung Ha and Seo Hae In will have feelings for each other while Kang Oh Soo has a one sided love for Seo Hae In.

Comments:

They should have added more super natural explaination explaination on the mysterious things that had happened rather then just making it a normal show. Nice show on the whole but as usual, ending not as extreme as expected though.

After watching the show, I only remember 3 people even though there were lots of people listed in the cast...LOL...

Dennis Oh will play a famous French Chef from America. He is a perfect guy named Johnny Kruger from New York. He plays a big part in hooking up Ma Yoo-Hee and Jae Mo Ryong. Jang Sung Mi is the ex-girlfriend of Mo Ryong.

Comments:

Entertaining drama, as you see how a "tigeress" changes herself when she meets the right guy in her life. No doubt, this "right" guy in her life changed her looks and way of dressing, he also changed her way of thinking and how she act in front of people. Gone with the win is the "tigeress"...Nice! Yoo Hee is such a adorable character =) You just can't help loving her...
